This evening was very cold too, but this time I put my cap on, so it was not so cold for the head. When the late evening is cold like this the least thing people expect is to see someone running. Therefore they looked at me as I am crazy or something.

Monday, October 30, 2006

Cold. Cold. Cold. Brrrr. I was running later in the evening, but it was so cold. I just ran the short path, almost nobody was out there in the streets.

Sunday, October 29, 2006

Serbia got new constitution! Such a good news! I visited my friends and their little daughter in the morning, I haven't seen them a while, I brought her two nice children books with pictures. In the evening I ran very shortly, it was raining, and whole day I feel some pain in left foot but I have no idea why is that. But it dissapeared in the evening.

Saturday, October 28, 2006

I ran in the morning my 6 kilometers, morning was somewhat fresh with lots of dew entering into my running shoes. Today is referendum in Serbia for new constitution. I will go out later to vote YES and confirm it.

Friday, October 27, 2006

Again I ran uphill downhill in the late evening, just this time it was easy. I was in the mood for running. Today temperature was among the highest in the written history of Belgrade temperature.

Thursday, October 26, 2006

I ran uphill downhill after a long time. It feels strange - I felt some strain in legs and went steadily slower pace. But it was not like before, seems I am getting adapted to running longer distances which are not uphill.

Wednesday, October 25, 2006

Quite a warm morning, I ran my usual 6 kilometers. In the evening I visited Belgrade Book Fair. 51st one.

Tuesday, October 24, 2006

When I was running first lap today I swallowed a little bug, or spider, or who knows what - something similar happened to me earlier this summer. So, I tried to cough it out, and again who knows if I was successful in doing. But I continued to run and ran my now usual 15 laps today.

Monday, October 23, 2006

I ran 6 kilometers in the morning, this time slow pace all the time. From today on I will carry with me 0.5 litre bottle of water or juice to drink after the run, since I am running more than I am used to during previous months.

Sunday, October 22, 2006

I ran in the morning, slower pace, 6 km and I intensified last 500 meters or so. Doing so I can check my breathing, but in the future I will not continue to do so, but to keep steady rhythm during the whole run. When you run steadily and slowly you can feel peace.

Saturday, October 21, 2006

Today I also ran 6 km, and slowly I am getting used to it, but I guess I will need few days or weeks more to explore that distance more thouroughly, meaning proper breathing question and attitude during the run. Last few hundred of meters I increased my speed much, and it went well and natural.

Friday, October 20, 2006

Today I ran 15 laps instead of 8, and it is important to find proper way of breathing and proper pace, but it seems I managed. So, it is about 6 kilometers or so. It was cold and windy, but it did not bother me much since I ran slowly.

Thursday, October 19, 2006

Today I ran early in the morning in park two miles. It was very cold, cold wind was blowing, but I managed to finish all 8 laps. They say that next week temperatures will go up over 20 C, it would be cool if it happens really.

Wednesday, October 18, 2006

I ran today in the late in the evening, and before that I was strolling in the city, where I a friend of mine, and after some time I met another friend of mine, so it was funny, but I was glad I talked with them.

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

I ran about 10 am in the park, my two miles. I saw one beautiful butterfly while I was running, amazing colors brown orange red with some white spots I believe. Many nice things one can see in the park.

Monday, October 16, 2006

Very cold and cloudy day in Belgrade. I went to the city bookstores and examined poetry, and I was quite surprised by new editions of some of our famous poets. Book Fair is nearning, so I will have to pay attention there - there are a lot of good collections that I enjoyed. I ran in the evening, shorter path.

Sunday, October 15, 2006

Today is Sunday, so I reckoned it is good idea to run longer than usual, so instead 8 laps I ran 20 which is about 8 km. I felt some pain in knees and foot, so it is not thing that I will do everyday. I went to run later around the noon, so it was nice sunny weather.

Saturday, October 14, 2006

I ran early in the morning my usual 8 laps that is two miles. Mornings are getting colder.

Friday, October 13, 2006

I ran today somewhat later about 8 am or so, and again 2 miles, this time I was making bigger steps in last lap but with same tempo so I tried to increase speed in that way. It was fun.

Vladimir Kramnik became World Chess Champion today. Congratulations!

Thursday, October 12, 2006

I ran early in the morning my usual 2 miles in the park. This morning wind was somewhat stronger. I ran slow pace, and last lap I ran with faster pace, but still steadily.

Wednesday, October 11, 2006

Today I went out to the park very early, so I saw golden rays of sunrise when I was finishing my 2 miles, there was nobody there except some dogs and crows, and I ran very slowly but enjoyed it much.

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

I went out with both of my parents today, morning was sunny. I was running and they were strolling in the park. I ran 2 miles this time accelerating last few laps.

Monday, October 09, 2006

Today there was fog in the morning. I managed to run 2 miles slow pace.

Sunday, October 08, 2006

Today I was also running very big laps in the park, this time 3. I managed to see one squirrel, and I heard that unlike these, those in Kalemegdan park are not afraid of people at all and that they allow you to feed them. My friend from San Franscisco told me that squirrels walk to her to get the food (where she lives they are not afraid at all). I still never had the luck to feed such marvellous creatures in the park, but I really hope that one day my wish will come true.

Saturday, October 07, 2006

Well, today I unintentionally skipped running, for the first time after nearly 5 months of everyday running. I was walking a lot during the day so I was very tired, and I planned to go out to run in the late evening. But it happened that I fell asleep and woke 2:30 am next day! Oh my! But such things happen and I will just continue to run everyday as I used to do.

Ah, yes, Serbia won over Belgium in soccer today 1:0. Whoo hoo!

Friday, October 06, 2006

Today I ran in the park those very big laps on asphalt, I do it always when it was rainy in the night or something, I managed to run 2.5

Thursday, October 05, 2006

I ran shorter path in the evening, and evenings are colder now.

Wednesday, October 04, 2006

I ran 2 miles in the park early in the morning. This time I did not go fast pace, but found some slower rhythm, and it is better for me. Perhaps I will prolong the distance with slower pace in time, we shall see.

Tuesday, October 03, 2006

Today I ran again 2 miles, but this time I started somewhat slower than last time, and it proved to be good decision. I am still running it fast pace. I saw few squirrels in the park, if I had to choose a pet - I would definitely pick a squirrel. They are so cute. But it is better for them to live in the park, that is there where they feel at home.

Monday, October 02, 2006

I didn't sleep much at night so in the morning I ran shorter path, I was not in mood at all to run longer path. For proper running it is essential to get proper rest at night, and to sleep enough hours.

Sunday, October 01, 2006

Again two miles, very fast pace next time I have to have slower start, it is not good to do like this fast from the beginning.
